GENERAL SANTOS CITY (05 October 2014) - City Mayor Ronnel Rivera talks with residents while inspecting the on-going re-channeling of a portion of Makar River at Purok 16, Barangay Fatima Friday, October 3. Mayor Rivera instructed the City Engineer’s Office to do the re-channeling after receiving a report from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council that the river overflows during heavy rains, endangering the lives of the nearby residents.
