GENERAL SANTOS CITY (27 May 2015) - City Mayor Ronnel Rivera, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources head Sammy Malvar, City Agriculturist Merlinda Donasco and City Councilor Brix "Liklik" Tan, chairman of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, open the 2nd Farmers and Fisherfolks Congress at Lagao Gymnasium Monday, May 25. The congress aims to address the issues that farmers and fishermen of the city are facing right now, as well as to teach them innovative methods for better production and income.
