GENERAL SANTOS CITY (15 May 2014) - Selected incoming Grade 3 pupils of Lanton Elementary School in Barangay Apopong who are beneficiaries of Community Teach Program queue as a nutritious breakfast is being served to them. Corollary to the remedial reading classes, the Community Teach also runs a feeding program as a supplemental support to the learning of these kids. The project is an educational thrust of City Mayor Ronnel Rivera and Department of Education in partnership with Smart Communications to raise the academic standards of public schools in the city.
