GENERAL SANTOS CITY (13 December 2013) – City Mayor Ronnel Rivera speaks during the donation of 175 armchairs to Barangay Ligaya Elementary School Tuesday, December 10. The mayor told the students that the local government works hard for them to have a brighter future. Rivera also called on the school children to value their studies despite of adversities because education is the only key for them to achieve success. The AKLAT Program (Alay sa Kabataang Generals Lahat ng Alaga at Talino) of the City Mayor's Office facilitates educational projects of Mayor Rivera such as the donation of armchairs.
