GENERAL SANTOS CITY (25 February 2014) – The city’s Moro community exhibits traditional games during the Pakaradjan (a Moro gathering) in line with the three-day series of tri-people cultural celebration of Kalilangan 2014. Prominent Maguindanaon, Maranao, Tausug and Sangil families participated in the activity at GenSan Oval Ground showcasing their different culture and traditions such as the Kanduli Kadadatuan, Kulintangan and Kambuyang. The activity was organized by the Office of Muslim Affairs, a division under the City Mayor’s Office. Pakaradjan envisions to promote the culture of Moro communities and strengthen the convergence of tri-people. (GENSAN INFO OFFICE/Allan Jay Resane)
