GENERAL SANTOS CITY (26 February 2014) - The humid day somehow complements the sizzling flavors of grilled fish during the "Sugba Sugba" of Kalilangan 2014. Thirty kilos of grilled fresh "tilapia" and "pirit" were offered to the public, a first time in the history of Kalilangan. City Mayor Ronnel Rivera with the Mindanao State University-General Santos City hosted the "Sugba Sugba" to promote the traditional grilling of fish as a folkway of cooking and to display the abundance of fish in GenSan.
