GENERAL SANTOS CITY (9 October 2013) - The first Urban Poor Development Council (UPDC) general assembly at the Parish Center highlights City Mayor Ronnel Rivera concern to the plight of the marginalized families in the city. Through the marching order of Rivera, UPDC was formed by virtue of an ordinance authored by City Councilor Rosalita Nunez and City Councilor Arturo Cloma to implement comprehensive programs to mitigate poverty issues all throughout GenSan.
