GenSan chosen as Filipino language research site


GENERAL SANTOS CITY (31 January 2014) – The Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino meets City Mayor Ronnel Rivera to award the token which signifies that General Santos City was one of the 10 chosen urbanized cities in the Philippines as a research site.  This undertaking aims to create an official sangguniang aklat panggramatika that will serve as a baseline module in teaching Filipino as a secondary language. Mayor Rivera supports the conduct of research as education is one of his target development priorities. The result of the study shall be published in a book entitled “Gramatika ng Filipino bilang Pambansang Lingua Franca”.(GENSAN INFO OFFICE/ Russell Delvo)
