GENERAL SANTOS CITY (07 December 2013) - GenSan's First Lady Jane Rivera, who is also GenSan Tourism Council chair, graced the launching of the newly-renovated public library of General Santos City Friday, December 6. Rivera outlined the significance of the city library as a "vital education facility" and cited it as a "tool for public access of information". She also acknowledged the collective effort of the local officials, public and private individuals, and NGOs in their contribution to the refurbishing the city library.
