GENERAL SANTOS CITY (23 December 2013) - Sheherazade Tablizo (center), a regular employee of General Santos City district hospital, won the Honda Wave motorcycle grand prize of the raffle during the Christmas Party of the city government on December 19 at Lagao Gymnasium. Aside from the motorcycle, minor prizes were also given including a 32-inch Bravia flatscreen TV, washing machines, oven toasters, electric fans and emergency lamps. GenSan's First lady Jane Rivera also raffled off P50,000 from her own pocket to 10 lucky government employees. According to the City Treasurers' Office (CTO), more than P1M were used to procure the prizes, and part of the budget was given by City Mayor Ronnel Rivera. (GENSAN INFO OFFICE/Russell Delvo)
