GENERAL SANTOS CITY (15 August 2013) - City Mayor Ronnel Rivera evaluates the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Management Project presented on August 7 by the National Solid Waste Management Commission (NSWMC). With the partnership of Department of Environment And Natural Resources-Environmental Management Bureau XII (DENR-EMB XII) and World Bank, the project will be implemented in the city to reduce the risk of toxic pollutants in the environment.
