GENERAL SANTOS CITY (31 October 2013) - The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) represented by Gloria Victoria Yan-Taruc holds a public hearing on the Power Sales Agreement between SOEnergy Corporation and SOCOTECO II Wednesday, October 30. In the public hearing, SOCOTECO general manager Rodolfo Ocat presented the power rates by the time SOEnergy will be utilized as well as the contract agreement of the two parties. A provisional authorization will be released by the ERC on November 10 to legally start the operation of SOEnergy in the city. City Mayor Ronnel Rivera had earlier directed SOCOTECO II to fast-track the request for authority in order for GenSan power to stabilize. (GENSAN INFO OFFICE/Russell Delvo)
