GENERAL SANTOS CITY (25 February 2014) – These are some of the 180 runners and nature lovers across Mindanao who joined the 1st GenSan Dagan sa Kinaiyahan in line with the celebration of the 2014 Kalilangan Festival at Klaja Site, Barangay Conel on February 23. The eco-trail run was powered by The North Face and was organized by the Bordwerkz Outdoor Sports in support to City Mayor Ronnel Rivera’s goal on ecological and sports tourism development. Runners traversed the rocky road of Guadelupe and crossed the river of Klaja which was in the past a Japanese soldiers’ route.
